Around town
As the capital of the state of Arizona and anchor of a sprawling, multi-city metropolitan area known as the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix sees thousands of visitors a day. It is known for its high-end resorts, golf courses and vibrant nightclubs, but the city’s biggest attraction may be the sunshine and winter warmth. It is served by Sky Harbor International Airport which provides nonstop service to Phoenix from 80 US and 20 international destinations.
Because of it’s year-round warm climate, there are a ton of things to do outdoors in Phoenix. There are also museums, aquariums, fine restaurants and shops and the Phoenix Convention Center. So, if you find yourself stuck in Phoenix on a layover, here are just few of the things you can do. Enjoy!
